There are some very real discrepancies that have showed up with the MI recount, due to misbehaving voting machines, and they are large enough that they *could* flip the state. Or they could do nothing, but we won’t know unless we can investigate them.

Her shortage is from WI, where estimate she were that the recount would cost her $1.1M (because that’s what the last one cost her) but they are actually charging her $3.8M.

The undervote discrepancy between 2012 and 2016 is exactly why we need a recount. Those are all possible misscans, rather than non-votes, and the margin of victory in MI was only 10k.

This is actually one of the reasons we are asking for a recount in MI.

No one should be lambasting McCrory for asking for a recount. Election integrity should be non-partisan — when the vote is close every candidate should be able to ask for a recount or audit without any recrimination.
