Most fun things do result in negative money. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

That was kind of my point. There are many forms of socialism. They are more on the authoritarian spectrum, IE above Centre.

My friend and I like to say "It's just good enough" to describe GM Engineering.

What a great way to justify increased surveillance, less freedom of movement, and towing a party line.

Marxist-Leninist socialism is a type of socialism practised by the Communist Party of China.

China is literally governed by the Communist Party of China.

I know, right!? I’m reading this thread and I’m thinking “WTF is wrong with some of you people? Why are you defending this? It’s not remotely justifiable based upon a narrow vision of how the US criminal justice system and economic penalty system works.

Too many people forget the political spectrum goes up and down too. It’s hard to take anyones opinion seriously if they don’t know what they are talking about.

That 4.3 was, and still is, everywhere on land and water. Talk about a successful engine design. The 4.3 and SBC are “go to” power packages for IO boats. People still pay good money for older Merc 4.3s to throw into boats for repowering.

At what point will automakers, including Tesla, give up on offering redundant in car navigation systems?

This really is just another Wednesday in a snowbelt area. Living on the lee of the great lakes makes tandem snow plowing all too regular and not what I would consider art.

It’s easy to create shiny public works to show the outside world how impressive you are, when all your subjects are on food stamps and have very few luxuries and work every day in support of the state.

North Korea has some pretty shiny public works, too!

I’ve always been a function over form guy. I don’t baby my car. If it gets a scratch, I get over it quick. Little rock chip here, who cares. It doesn’t affect the performance of the car. I don’t drive it to be in car shows, I drive it for the feeling of having over 400whp when I exit a corner and feel that feeling you

What happened to cars that were extremely phallic looking? Where the engine cowling was half of the chassis or more.

I can’t think of any currently manufactured. Most V6s I know are over 3.0L. Not like all those tiny sub 3.0L V6s we used to see all the time. Like the old Hyundai 2.7, or the even smaller Mazda V6s.

Haha yeah, that’s kind of the picture I had in my head.

I think that’s something the MNR mostly takes care of up here north of the border. But that is interesting to note.

Whoa, how does one become a lake master?

They used to do this in Penetanguishene too.
