You did it the right way and went the route of logic. It takes mental fortitude to avoid the sales tactics and baubles of the higher level trims that people don’t really need and often can’t afford.

The OPP have a large garage specifically for vehicle conversions over at the hq in Orillia, ON. On occasion, I spot car carriers with a bunch of shiny new police vehicles on it, off to some detachment somewhere in the province.
