I would imagine this is similar for all cars with electronic gear shifts and/or electronic parking brakes. However, I’d imagine it’s less likely for an ICE car to die and “lock up” on the road like the Tesla did.  Though honestly I never gave it much thought…

How is it overrated ? This car is beloved for its looks, not for its performances.

Ford GT engine is a tuned up Ecoboost V6, so it’s not really that far away from what I was talking about at the end of the piece.
