It’s really common in JRPGs, but I’ve never been a fan of that kind of framing device.
I dunno. It has a great cast and it looks real pretty, but it just doesn’t seem to have much of a personality to it. Hopefully it’s the fault of the trailers and not the actual movie.

I’ll be holding off until Friday then. I’m kind of assuming I’ll grab the PS4 version, but I’m curious to see if the LOD “pop-in” can be improved much on PC, assuming it’s a CPU-dependent thing with the procedural nature of everything.
