Holy crap, I can’t believe it’s been a year! Anyway, I look forward to these every week and hope to see many more :D

I’m excited as hell for these last two episodes. They’ve been gradually down the “shit getting real” path, and it feels more and more like they’ll follow through with it and cap off this season as its own one-and-done story.

Today’s commenters be all like “Today’s gamers be all like ‘what why is the main character a man helping a woman? Why is it not a black hero? How come I can’t do same sex romance?’” before anyone has even said a word.

I’ve never been big on Japanese Boob Games but there’s something that looks mindlessly compelling about the combat in this.

Few things have endeared me to them as swiftly as the first issue of Hawkeye.

Cool, glad to see it. I’ve been playing P4A recently and I’ve been strangely irked by the fact that (so far at least) it seems to entirely ignore the fact that he has a body.

I like to imagine Doomguy sucks at Doom.

While VLR is better gameplay-wise (or at least 1000% more respectful of the player’s time), I thought the story fell pretty far short of 999.

I don’t yet know how I feel about the game’s release strategy, but it'll certainly be fascinating to see play out.

Really hard to not just post the J-Law “okay” gif, but I’m holding myself back since I did have some fun with the game before it fell into oblivion. They just can’t drop off the face of the earth like this.

I’ve fallen down the black hole of Persona this year. I played 3 and 4 when they came out but I hadn’t touched anything since then, and with Dancing All Night coming out I figured I’d catch myself up. I played through P4 Golden earlier this year, just finished up a P3 FES replay, and I’m currently midway through

Cool that the Rebels figures will be usable in the other Star Wars playsets, but I still wish it was getting its own.

With 1.0 at least (sat 2.0 out) there were straight up 50% off everything sales within a month of launch, and more by time the holiday season rolled around. Depending on reviews I might jump in on 3.0 at one of those sales.

The 15-ish second shot this is from is probably the most impressive effects shot I’ve seen on TV. So awesome.

Oh, I thought it looked like Drew Scanlon playing.

How on earth is such a high-profile show not being officially simulcast anywhere?

On the plus side, I thought the Twin Peaks-ass opening of ep3 was one of the most compelling scenes in the season so far. (Not that I’m one of the “this must have supernatural stuff or I will hate it” people.)

I love a game that is challenging in this way, leaving off the exclamation mark that ends most stories and instead leaving you to quietly reflect on the experience. (It’s a shame that beating the Mirror Game on the desktop gives you a more traditional ending and reveals the game as Frog Fractions 2.)

Kind of surprised there's no simulcast. I can't imagine doing that would take away from the money one could make airing the dub on TV here a bit further down the line. (And I assume no one really buys anime on DVD anymore.)

I think you might be taking this a bit too seriously for a pointless marketing game that had no goals/prizes beyond a larger number on a screen. (Plus, the fact that there’s a different badge for 100m clearly shows that Valve was aware of and okay with people teaming up and using scripts.)
