They don’t operate in the US. Mostly British.

I did consider that, but something would have to happen sooner rather than later for it to happen. Any last minute change would involve two scenarios. The first is Trump agreeing to not run, and he’d never agree if Romney is his replacement. The second is he keels over past the point of the primary season, in which…
The GOP lost control of it’s base and Trump happened. At this point they’re in Ride or Die mode and it serves them right. I’d enjoy it except of course he’s our President too.
I agree in that early stages of the technology are in place or being developed, and that it’s a question of scale, at a level only governments can provide. We’re talking trillions, not billions. The world’s entire energy grid needs to be essentially replaced for starters, energy storage will need hundreds of billions…
I actually bet $100 that Pence will be the nominee at 18-1 odds. (Not the President, just the nominee.) I think there is zero percent chance impeachment removes Trump, but it could set the wheels in motion for some 11th hour maneuvering to bump him from running.
I misspell guarantee every time. It’s maddening because I always pause, knowing I misspell it, yet I still first type gauruntee every damned time.
Using kids is stifling honest discussion. Note, I said honest, not the bullshit practiced by the GOP. The debate needs to be about science, about technology, about investment. The smartest of the smart. I don’t want kids leading the way, I want Nobel Prize winners doing so.
Michael Barnett, who had since divorced Kristine.
I never understand the hate for Scott Boras. Is it because he doesn’t give a fuck what the owners, the media, fans, you think? Why should he? His job is to maximize what his players earn. Period. And he’s the best there is at it. Nobody fucks over the owners more than he does.
“We’ll be right back after this brief commercial break and we’ll allow Billy to finish his sentence.”
You’ll enjoy Billy more if you view it as performance art rather than journalism.
Oh wait, She bankrupted Burlington College, not Burlington Coat Factory. My mistake.
He has to shop at Kohl’s instead of Burlington Coat Factory. You see, his wife’s ego and incompetence bankrupted that company.
It just means that while you can hide houses in your wife’s name, it’s not so easy to do it with clothing.
She doesn’t have the charismatic style that grabs hold of you from the get go, that’s for sure. And I get why people expect that, it’s exciting.
Tell them Billy is Faulkneresque. That’s how I defend myself after I send rambling drunken texts at two in the morning.
Bernie, to his credit, has attracted a LOT of people who are relatively new to the political process, particularly younger people. Again this is great. But a side effect is that newcomers often are zealously narrow minded in that THEIR candidate and THEIR solutions are the only legitimate ones and thus everyone else…
Clueless incompetence wins out over true evil in my book any day. Umm, go Paul!
Wait, you made a distinction without a difference and were a dick about it, and I’m the one who fell flat?
You talk like this lawsuit has any ability to do anything. Those 5 countries would simply back out as well if faced with any sanctions. The is no enforcement authority that can say otherwise. So simply targeting these 5 countries and not the true bad actors is in fact counter productive.
