I don’t get the author writing off “34% of Americans have private insurance” as a small insubstantial amount. That’s actually a huge number. Particularly if you extrapolate it to what percentage of them vote. I’d guess over 50% of the voting public have private insurance.

QT actually writes female characters well. I understand objecting to his off screen actions, but to call his on screen work misogynistic is simply untrue.

Poor Beto, he simply wasn’t ready for the big time. In a conservative place like Texas, against Cruz, he really was great. Just didn’t translate. Partly because he actually did lose.
