I generally like the kinds of games that are as easily enjoyed on easier modes as on harder modes. I played Uncharted 4 on easy and enjoyed it. Some games, though apparently this one, and in my experience The Last of Us, are much better played on hard, and it’s nice to know when you come across one of those games that

Maybe Nate wasn’t happy about having a daughter either. Maybe the Next few Uncharted games that come out in a few years will feature the daughter struggling with identity issues because Nate really wanted a boy, and Nate can go on a rant like the reviewer about how he’s the great Nathan Drake and he wanted a son, not

Hell of an elastic band, holding up that crescent wrench like that. I think this would be pretty inconvenient, it takes 2 hands to put your tool back, gotta pull the loop open to put your tool in. Also, elastic wears out over time, particularly under a load like this. Might want to make sure it’s easy to replace

Sure, other cars also have 4 wheels, but not as much as the Accord and the Vanquish Zagato do

Yeah especially the red

It won’t be the same, but it could still be a good thing. Just not the same good thing.

Any opinions on external vs built-in mosquito net? Looks like getting the external one and a hammock will cost about twice as much as a hammock with one built-in.

just like the real world, so much useless detail

Dibs on Maui! That’s my safe space, nobody else is allowed!

I think cultural tribalism is an idea more people need to be familiar with, since it characterizes so much of our social interactions. And yeah, the word cult has a negative connotation, but I don’t think it should, we should be able to examine any set of beliefs on its own merits and decide if it’s true or not and if

Sure, that makes sense. I’m a Christian, but I’m skeptical of authority structures and I think they’re contrary to my understanding of early church teaching. I agree that religious institutions are political in nature and it seems like they tend to do more harm than good.

I think the church has been like that in various ways for most of history. Dostoevsky’s “The Grand Inquisitor” had a similar response to Jesus’ appearance. We’re all pretty awful in our own ways.

So glad that middle fiber of each wire is bulletproof. That is a primary concern of mine.

This would add a significant amount of time to my laundry folding activities. My socks aren’t straight like that either, so it wouldn’t look very good. On top of that, I don’t really see the need for additional organization of my socks, it’s pretty easy to find what I’m looking for already.

I’m so glad that GM is working hard to protect the interests of the consumer. Where would we be without their efforts to keep Tesla from making us all buy cars directly from the company.

I entirely disagree, but I guess this is as far as arguing on the internet ever gets.

I’m not saying there’s only one healthy way to eat. People are built differently and will have different results from diets. Consuming dietary cholesterol isn’t a problem as far as I’ve seen, it used to be considered dangerous because it was thought to raise blood cholesterol levels, but research has shown it doesn’t

For simplicity’s sake, I’d prefer a french press over a pourover. You don’t have to stand and watch a french press, so it’s more hands-off.
