It won’t be the same, but it could still be a good thing. Just not the same good thing.

Any opinions on external vs built-in mosquito net? Looks like getting the external one and a hammock will cost about twice as much as a hammock with one built-in.

just like the real world, so much useless detail
Dibs on Maui! That’s my safe space, nobody else is allowed!
I think cultural tribalism is an idea more people need to be familiar with, since it characterizes so much of our social interactions. And yeah, the word cult has a negative connotation, but I don’t think it should, we should be able to examine any set of beliefs on its own merits and decide if it’s true or not and if…
Sure, that makes sense. I’m a Christian, but I’m skeptical of authority structures and I think they’re contrary to my understanding of early church teaching. I agree that religious institutions are political in nature and it seems like they tend to do more harm than good.
I think the church has been like that in various ways for most of history. Dostoevsky’s “The Grand Inquisitor” had a similar response to Jesus’ appearance. We’re all pretty awful in our own ways.
So glad that middle fiber of each wire is bulletproof. That is a primary concern of mine.

This would add a significant amount of time to my laundry folding activities. My socks aren’t straight like that either, so it wouldn’t look very good. On top of that, I don’t really see the need for additional organization of my socks, it’s pretty easy to find what I’m looking for already.
I’m so glad that GM is working hard to protect the interests of the consumer. Where would we be without their efforts to keep Tesla from making us all buy cars directly from the company.

I entirely disagree, but I guess this is as far as arguing on the internet ever gets.
I’m not saying there’s only one healthy way to eat. People are built differently and will have different results from diets. Consuming dietary cholesterol isn’t a problem as far as I’ve seen, it used to be considered dangerous because it was thought to raise blood cholesterol levels, but research has shown it doesn’t…
For simplicity’s sake, I’d prefer a french press over a pourover. You don’t have to stand and watch a french press, so it’s more hands-off.
Calling something a “fad” isn’t an argument though, it’s just a meaningless label. Whether it works or not is separate from whether it’s a fad or not. Bacon isn’t a problem on its own, you have to look at the diet from a broader perspective. Is pork bad for you? Is fat bad for you? Is cured meat bad for you? From…
Broad strokes here. I’m going to be that guy who jumps in and says cutting out carbs isn’t a fad diet. Doctors have experimented with keto diets to treat various health issues since the 1930s, and it clearly brings results, not even just weight loss. It’s silly to make the claim that just because something is popular,…
You’ll want to be pretty quick about it, if you let your hot glue cool it won’t spread out much when you put the two parts together. If it stays thick, that will make your wood glue connection thick as well, and that will limit the strength of the joint.
Some essential oils do smell good, though. So there’s that.
Yeah, what everyone else said. I want credit too.
