I know some think she is Audrey being hidden at the trailer park.

I'm sure he likes the song, but I think he's aware of how much OTT hate it gets so he probably wanted to tweak a few people, similar to that endless scene with the French lady last week. I don't think it's done maliciously, but I think that was one of the motivations. There are various bits like this - another was…
I keep seeing people say he looks like Bowie, but I don't see it that much.
That's true in some cases, but not always. People have gone on and on and on about how terrible that song is for years and years. I think his putting it for a showcase musical performance was blatant trolling. I also think it had meaning (a "Maddy" on the stage in a place where many characters broke down as they felt…
I think that Audrey seemingly having the same struggles that he's having (only we are seeing inside her head, whereas we aren't with Dougie) makes me think they are tied together and will "wake up" around the same time. Candie may as well, if she has ties to Laura. Candie may be the key to them both waking up.
Before I say anything else I have to say how bizarrely happy I was to see that the man in the arm-wrestling sequences (the one who was giving instructions, etc.) was the same actor who was in one of my favorite "bad" movies, Elvira Mistress of the Dark. He was the one that she "stabs" with a fake knife after he tries…
Ed was in a preview shot for a promo that aired pre-premiere, so he will be popping up.
When I say trolling I don't mean he's saying, "Suck it, haters!" but I think it's more about playing games with audience expectations. I think the Gordon and Albert scene was very much in that vein, and I think the returns of Dale and Audrey have been as well.
I felt like there were some big personality rewrites in season 2, but I will agree to disagree.
If that was what he meant he likely would have said it.
He always reminds me of Tim Gunn.
Yeah I remember Goodman saying something in response to the criticism of his view by saying well yes that's true, but he still finds it a chore to watch and so on. It made me laugh out loud to see him so obviously pained to admit anything he deemed as CW would be wrong.
That's probably why I don't mind them, especially the ones that are just trippy, like the one last night. The rash woman I could have done without.
Ben is Ben. The main difference between Ben then and now is he doesn't screw around and he's wise enough to stay out of the drug and prostitution racket, which is good, don't get me wrong, but I think he's the same narcissist as he ever was. His reaction to Sylvia calling him kind of said it all for me. With that said…
One of the problems with Audrey is also one of the problems with Cooper is that the characters became so outsized in fanon that many needed her to return as being sleek and witty and wise and vulnerable, and likely pining for Dale or saving Dale. I thought the scene was a mess but if nothing else I was a bit glad to…
The whole scene was so ludicrous it seems to have been done that way deliberately, so I guess it will go somewhere with Audrey. Who knows. Supposedly it took a while for her to agree to return which makes me think she may have originally been intended for some of the Horne scenes she wasn't in.
I hadn't thought of that but I did see someone saying it felt like Audrey had become Catherine.
The reviewer hasn't ever really hesitated to be critical of something in an episode. I don't think she is trying to defend him.
Those were some of my favorite X-issues. I'm so glad I stopped reading that in the early '90s so my memories wouldn't be totally ruined…
I thought we were going to get a repeat of when Renault was suffocated at the end of season 1.
