Given it has someone playing her and is supposed to be about people she considered close friends, I can see why they asked, but it seems a bit tacky - not something I would have expected from a major publication.

I'd have to mention Bob Hartley on the Bob Newhart Show. As great as the supporting characters are (and between Emily, Carol, Jerry, there are so many), Bob is the anchor, and is also a genuinely funny, interesting guy all the way up to the end of the show. Some of the best deadpan and slow burn ever on a sitcom.

For me it was often the opposite - I mostly stuck it out for some of the supporting characters, like Nadine (even with that stupid amnesia story), Shelley, Bobby, et al. I felt like the character had a huge personality transplant after the killer reveal. His behavior with Annie was offputting, as he was all but

As someone who really liked Finn in his thankless GoT role and who appreciated how committed and nice he seemed to be, I wish he would just go on mute. This is some of the worst PR since - well to be honest this year has had a lot of fucked up PR, hasn't it?

I'm sure they don't mean to intentionally insult, but I think it's a sign of how dated the comedy is. They simply see most people outside of themselves as being an "other." And it has worked well for them, so they likely won't ever stop. But it's one of the reasons why I never can see it when people want the show to

Conservatism and conservative aren't the same thing. A show that pats itself on the back for throwing all sorts of racial stereotypes at cast members they treat like tokens, that still has sketches leering and jeering about gay men, that still pushes the old line about how hot it is for a female teacher to seduce a

Yes. That ended up getting lots of attention because it came out at the same time as all the backlash over the Widow/Hulk romance, but even outside of that it was a funny look at how much women in big Hollywood movies are put into such tiny niches.

Yeah Chappelle's episode was a standout, especially the election night sketch - a real moment of honesty. I think with better guest hosts and a new Trump things would improve.

Candice Bergen I'll always remember as a host for the "stupid people prevention" sketch that she and Gilda Radner broke in (back when this was actually rare), and for the Winter Wonderland sketch I used to watch every Christmas.

I read that a while back. Very astute.

"But Trump’s watching, you’re doing political comedy, Trump hates jokes at his expense—these are rare opportunities being squandered."

"Killing off Rick right now would be an amazing twist of GRR Martin-esq proportions. "

Don't forget how many keep reminding that she was so much stronger when she was catatonic over her partner and child being killed in horrible ways, and that anything but being a generic killing machine means she's weak and ruined.

The first season was dull and ponderous beyond belief. It's always been a mixed bag. I'd say its best years are behind it but I can't claim it's ever been an adrenaline blast. To me the show at its best was more thoughtful while also having some action. They just struggle to get the balance right.

How many will remember that and how many will remember stale Forrest Gump rehashes?

I think Rosita as a character always has potential but the writing always cuts corners with her.

I get that it's all subjective, but I feel like people always really want to reinforce how bad this relationship is for Michonne and act like she was this completely independent operator before and now she's just the little woman. It's never been like that. And she and Rick have been close since season 4. It's when

I'd say they have still kept it.

She credits Rick (and Andrea) for keeping her going after she was essentially a living zombie when he met her. It's an emotional connection between them, always has been.

They could be Rick and Lori, or Rick and Jessie, so…yes.
