Back in 2012 the rumors were making the rounds that the XF would also get the Manual in addition to the F-Type. So why not the XE, if it's going to be a 3 series fighter after all then it's almost a sure thing.

I hope so, Jaguar clearly has their ear to the ground with what customers want and they have been delivering the good lately. Hopefully they hear us.

Clearly they have both stood the test of time.

Now you're just silly with all of that extra stuff... Where will the Flux Capacitor fit then?

Oh of course the 4 cylinder will be, they need to leave something on the table to woo the customers up market. RWD has to be the standard though, they won't survive without it. Do you think that there will be a chance of a manual though?

Oh Jaguar is on such a roll with their designs I don't think anyone could consider a modern Jag ugly. I was reading that the car is being developed to accept the new 4 cylinder engine in either transverse or longitudinal orientation supposedly for 4wd and RWD applications. Hopefully they do not shoot them self's in

Of course it could go that route but it will be just so much better for us if it's priced lower than the others. I can't wait to see the rest of the car especially the interior.

I don't usually like sedans but this XE may have very well went straight to the top of my next new car to buy list.

Considering how well they are doing I wonder if have been able to offset the cost of the additional Aluminum in the chassis in order to bring their prices down below the competition. This thing has to be priced below a base model 3 series or it will sort of be a near miss IMO. I'm hoping for $30k, that's and actually

o0o0o this is going to be good... Hopefully it's priced comparably or can undercut BMW because that would mean a ~$30k RWD Jaaaaaaaggg.

Hahahaha Thanks! I'd love that job personally. Then I'd get to go on all of the MTTS trips for free!

Hahaha, I don't usually post things like that but this was just asking for it.

Not Lamborghini doors... Yes, I know the Aventador open with a slight angle but they will always be Scissor doors, these are not scissor doors.

I get what you are saying, The Coupe does have its share of appeal as the Pure Performance Model of the line up but with my ideal layout of what I think MINI should be doing with their line up they still need to have a drop top car available. The current and previous convertibles are useless and the Coupe would have a

Haha thanks man!

You're missing my point about the Roadster being the Performance variant if you're going to attribute performance solely to weight.

The extra length of the Clubman will help balance out the longer front over hang that new F5X generation will have but I'm going to miss the "Club Doors" that the current gen has. It was part of what made the Clubman unique in today's market. I could understand putting a second one on the other side of the car to make

Wagon; Check

Imagine this thing with studded ice tires. My god, that would be a hoot.

Hell, why not...
