IF the station/ship is rotating or moving and the artificial gravity “anchors” the water to the bed of the pool. Once the gravity is off the water will “detach” and start moving along the „displacement vector”.

It seems to me that the water wouldn’t just “pop” out of the pool unless the ship was jostled in some way.

The second half ot the last season took all the story threads that were still dangling and wrapped them up but not quite in as an elegant bow as I was used to. I would have still prefered those two halves to be two separate, full seasons…
