@JonZeke: Mine was in exactly this car too. It was maroon. Needless to say, my high school dreams of slaying trim were not realized when they discovered I drove this car. It was a trooper though. My first engine swap.

@jedchev: No matter the situation, a hot meal is grin inducing.
@LemursGT: I understood. But honestly I was a young man in my 20's in good shape mentally, and physically. If I can swing a sledgehammer or wash a dish I am capable of finding work. Therefor capable of covering my own immediate needs. That's all.
ROFL. I watched it on MBWorld until it spilled off to Performance Forums. Those guys hit Genmay.net levels of shenanigans.
@vpcmotorsport: 'Just walk away.'
@McMike: I still have it. Currently being lent to a friend for a few weeks. I have about 172,000 miles on it now. Many models remain constant through the versions. Would a redemption program work? IE, I submit my garage to you from FM3, and you…
@gearhead455: Sweet question. I put my 98 Grand Am SE (the 4 cyl) up to 116 on a downhill stretch of 295 North just before the exit to Brunswick Maine. In winter on bold tires. Rushing home ahead of a wave of hellish snow. I made it to my driveway as the flurries started.
@Quotidian_Hr: This one comes close. I've always loved the sound of a supercharged Benz.
@Billy Seroyer: Seconded. Nothing in the world has felt faster on such a visceral level.
