Not so sure about that... The MK7 accelerates harder, stops faster, and turns better then a cooper S... So, other then stopping you from carrying too many fat chicks, exactly what is the cooper better at?

That's what golf R's are for.

I dunno, but if it was a DSG R8, it would have won quite a bit more convincingly. ;)

LOL. I want to know how much higher the acceleration & forces were on the smart car occupants then the S class ones. I figure, at least 2.5 to 3 times.

Going into LMP2 is admitting defeat before you try. Man up, Ford.

Right, water works well for cooling things, generally. ;) Only problem is, it's heavy, and that car is already plenty heavy.

All of that, was already illegal.

It's mostly BS, caused by owners who refuse even the most basic of service and / or giving ANY shits about their cars.

A good example is the last people I talked to who "would never buy a VW ever again"... They had purchased a passat for their son, with zero maintenance records. Of course, being a 2000's era passat

Exactly, the GLI is a way better car. Also, you can buy a base model GLI which comes pretty well equipped, for LESS money then that.

Upper trim models- GTI's, GLI's, and Golf R's- come with beautiful interiors. Totally different trim and materials then the base model cars, which are built to a price point (the cheapest ever). So, if you want nice interiors, break out the check book.

In fact, most of the OP's complaints are answered in those

So if you're not looking where you're going, and you ride into a car, it's the cars fault? What if it was a maintenance truck, and it was parked? Is it still the trucks fault?

Shane, when you are going FORWARD, things come from IN FRONT OF YOU.

Ya, maybe at the time, but by modern standards they are flimsy. Just compare the sheer bulk of modern A/B/C pillars to stuff from 10-15 years ago. Then consider that most automakers are also using much higher strength steel alloys in those areas as well.

LMP1... Go. Class would be even more epic, and I could watch it all streaming, and not support the tiny troll which is Bernie.

Or maybe they just didn't want farmville in their conference....

No luck on my 6200 page document lol. Guess I'm going to have to split it, translate the index, then translate the sections I need. Sigh.

The OE clutch should be more then capable of transferring the OE horsepower of the bike regardless of the load, right up to full throttle.

Yep, it's sad that you cannot own an ITR without a garage. Even still...

Heated driveways area already a thing. They require a LOT of energy- which usually comes from natural gas because it's cheap. To actually melt a serious snow load off a large driveway in a real winter climate would require a month's worth of solar charge from the same area, plus batteries to store it all, and so

All those hammers and even that drill press would feel AMAZING in a 35mph frontal barrier test. ;)
