Possibly right. So, Joel is using this Kickstarter money to buy back the trademark from Mallon then?

I'll believe it when I see it.

Joel and Kevin Murphy have always seemed at arm's length ever since Joel's departure.

It's there. Dollars to donuts says those three gents are not invited to come back for this.

It's subtle but this is what jumped up at me

There are some not so thinly veiled shots at Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett buried in this opening salvo from Joel.

I saw Aliens on opening night at the late night showing. The crowd was so geeked by the end of it, I was surprised they weren't tipping cars over in the parking lot afterwards.

This movie needs to be in my brain now…

His "what me?" reaction to the VF piece was pathetically comical

His blog is called Hollywood Elsewhere and he has yet to react.

RDJ still made Iron Man 3, so what's HIS excuse?

Yes, but I thought the film really didn't articulate a final point nearly as effectively as Ray Liotta getting the morning paper in suburbia. Maybe if it stopped with that great shot of Kyle Chandler on the subway, a B+ film becomes an A-

I have that record, Bloomfield vaped on the session because of insomnia/heroin so Stills helped finish. That's definitely Stills playing on that track.

Steven Stills was playing on Season of the Witch not Bloomfield

I remember the crowd losing it so hard the cameraman missed the cue

The one thing I really began to dislike about GG was the not so subtle classism than began to creep into later seasons. The show at first was all about how the GG rejected the country club life and lived on their own terms. But by season five, flash a few dollars around and they would turn to jelly. ASP increasingly

My oldest sister introduced me to Fairport Convention and Camper Van Beethoven.

Butler is losing a crap ton of money. No attendance, no Brad Stevens (purported to have left partly because of the BE move), and four conference wins is a recipie for Missouri Valley membership in the future.

Uconn might have begged off because they were shafted both by the ACC as well as the schools that reformed the Big East. Either UConn gets let back
In the BE or that new iteration will be gone within five years (sooner once Butler/DePaul/Creighton can't handle bleeding that kind of money)

The film left out that one of the things that badly hurt the Big East record in the tourney was their brief rule change to six fouls. They became way too physical and could not readjust in the tourney to five fouls.
