He looks so great in the Bund. The slicked back hair, the cigarette smoke, the hats. I'd never seen a Chinese guy look SO FUCKING COOL.
You must have really hated Rumble in the Bronx then.
A Moment of Romance though.
Hey God of Gamblers is great! And Young and Dangerous! and A Chinese Ghost Story! ok so that's 3 out of what like 60 movies?
I thought they took a film about the complex question about what it means to be human and a not-quite linear timeline and a plot where the audience has to figure out somethings on their own, and made it very simple and straightforward and removed a lot of the ambiguity. I thought ScarJo was fine, but it's not worth…
The bamboo forest is in Anji - just about 2-3 hours west of Shanghai. Re-cast Fu Manchu as a blonde heiress from Michigan . . . nah that would be too unbelievable
Is this the new Wu Tang album?
I don't know why we're being fair, but if we're being fair (and the list of acts was more appealing. . . and the prices lower and it wasn't being run by Ja Rule and 25 year old). . . .the advertising video looks like it would be a lot of fun. Well, for other people.
The comments on the trailer on YouTube are not encouraging. Also, the animation looks like 1980s era Dungeons and Dragons - 8 frames per second.
