In China, "Hooters" is literally translated into "The American Owl Restaurant" - since obviously the pun on breast nicknames doesn't make any sense in Chinese. Neither does the American Owl Restaurant, but at least the logo fits.

A friend of mine worked at a Hooters for four years - she was plenty attractive, but lacking in the chest department - she said the men there tipped better, and the managers were way better at shooing off creeps than other restaurants she had worked at.
