If you look at some of the source material that isn’t linked above, the guy who recorded the video noted that before he started recording, she was ranting about terrorists having flesh caves under the store...

Based on the current hot new trend in corporate america of expecting all their employees to come pre-trained so they don’t have to have a training budget, they probably hired him because he had previous security guard experience. If said experience was occupying a security desk at an office building he could have gone

She’s either mentally ill or tweaking her face off. Also, they clearly do not teach Target security guards how to restrain and cuff someone. He dropped the cuffs multiple times and would’ve lost them completely if that woman didn’t come over and nonchalantly kick them over to him. And why wasn’t she wearing shoes?

...is she not wearing shoes?

Gas is NOT cheap. Its still expensive by historical standards. That weve somehow convinced ourselves that European fuel prices are the normand that the $4/gallon of the late 00's were somehow more normalis a recency bias. Even factoring in inflation, fuel prices should be about $0.50/gallon or more cheaper

I HATE people who cannot use cruise control with a passion. It isn’t that hard people. My other biggest pet peeve are drivers who bonk that their car is a big rid and requires them to swing wide right before making a left hand turn and coming out of the turn lane into my lane in the process.

Honestly, good. 40,000 people died in traffic accidents last year and if automation can cut that then good.

It will be the same as the transition from horse to automobiles. People still LOVE horses but do not ride them to work, just like a Miata or 3-series will become a fun hobby. In the end automation removes distractions and drunkenness from the road, making everyone safer. Does suck for truck drivers though.....

We all get old.

Driving myself in the twistys = fun

Car enthusiasts still have to drive to work in rush hour traffic every day. Why would you think automation wouldn’t be attractive to us?

Different =/= better. I am resistant to changes that suck.

...the Model 3 just might live up to its hype.

But it still has that awful dash/infotainment screen bolted to the center of the dash. Yuck.

They seem to be aiming for entry Luxury, not economy. Which should be fine and still a game changer IF they can pull it off.

Bathroom break, but also autopilot. They’re also installing 18000 superchargers in America. 3 hour autopilot drive, bathroom/charge/eat, more autopilot, arrive.

Caught that too.....solves the range anxiety/charge wait time argument right ;)

I assume supercharger rate for long range is supposed to be 170 miles in 30 minutes? If 170 in 3, I’ll jump in line tomorrow.

So 30 people are paying for a car they know almost nothing about?
