When you post how to DL a pirated copy of a movie that will make hundreds of millions of dolars when it releases, and just got your ass sued by Hulk Hogan for over a hundred million.
Meh I pirated it now. I pirated the shit copy before. I saw it in th etheater 3 times and will buy it on release. Still not sorry about pirating it.
Rules for the “scene” that groups follow have been around ever since the days of the BBS. They do it for the respect within their own community, not for the population benefitting from the actual piracy.
the large majority fo the pirates can’t rea your english articles, you do realize that.
In a very clear cut case of murder, where is no chance of getting the wrong person...I’m perfectly fine with this.
I would actually argue that I would prefer to be put to death to life in prison.
See:
I mean, what if not every single person had a gun, though?
Well, when I see a guy leaning over, bashing another person’s head into the ground with a baseball bat or the butt of his rifle, that’s a pretty good visual indicator.
The Cleaners and LMB are immediately visually identifiable, meanwhile the Rikers generally wear a mixture of prison uniform and prison guard gear.
I’ve enjoyed my 50-or-so hours adventuring through the city, doing quests, finding collectables, exploring the story, etc. But if you don’t have a group to play with, it kind of grinds down once you’re done with that. Dark Zone and Challenges need a group, so it’s just 2-3 “daily” hard missions a day for 30-40 phoenix…
Unless we’re talking about a part I have yet to reach - everyone I have “mowed down” have been people shooting at me. And in that regard - it doesn’t matter if they’re homeless or not.
There have been many critics that take issue with the ‘killing poor people bit.’ Me, on the other hand, could care less. It is shooting at you? Can you shoot back at it? Okay, that’s enough for me.
I never questioned the morality of killing pink demon cow things in DOOM, or wondered what the part of the world the…
“I can usually live with spending most of my time shooting virtual poor people.”
she looks pretty cute with that motion capture lipstick
I’m actually a former dev (seriously wish you the best in that industry), gotta say a lot of what you say there (the controller, the nix OS, Window gripes, etc) is definitely refreshing to hear from someone else. I like Steam, in the definition of it being a useful tool to play my games at multiple locations and…
As a developer, let me share.
The first 10% of the code you write is pure joy. You are creating this whole new thing.
The next 80% of code you write goes into making the experience work well. Time consuming, often frustrating - but nice to see all the rough edges get sanded down.
The last 10% of code is your punishment…
If I were running Valve’s PR department, I’d announce a major game April 1st, but only to five sketchy sites, and watch the chaos unfold.
“But for people who are waiting for that larger Valve thing—that new fiction or that interesting new multiplayer game—do they have something to look forward to after all these years? Do you have something like that in the pipeline, whether for VR or regular old vanilla Steam?
“Wouldn’t want to make games”, but are currently in a cyclic work setup where they find the ‘new shiny’ and work on that instead of bucking down and just cranking on a big project. Industry friends who’ve got good connections with Valve suggest that they keep finding “one more thing” to work on before finalizing their…
