I bumped into a deer once going like 5 MPH in an Audi (can’t remember the model) and it broke the little cover for the water sprayer (it didn’t have wipers for the lights, but had a water sprayer that would clean them). It cost me $5k to replace that little plastic cover.

I lock my doors when I get out and walk around, but I also lean against the pump / pole so I can keep an eye on the car, and check surroundings.
