I can guarentee that you can drive (at least Mazda’s) without the key being in it.

Coworkers 2016 Ford Mustang with “TRACK PACK” or some shit has those on the hood. When I mentioned the fake “vents” he put his head down and walked away in shame.

Auto-braking and/or adaptive cruise control.

Our Mazda CX-5 is in the badge.

Or you go a half a foot to the right, like some of the cars did, and straddle it...

My wife’s car has that, Mazda CX-5. It’s a neat feature, until you try and pull into the garage before the door is all the way up and it stops you. I’ve done that twice and it’s scared the shit out of me both times.

I agree with you on the ABS thing, I find that pumping the breaks in the snow is still better than the ABS. I also turn off the traction control a lot because when trying to go through an intersection and hit some damn slush, the car thinks I’m sliding and I lose power.

I’d like to see some stats on that one please, because the majority of crashes are still being caused by distractions and drinking. That, and since fuel prices are down so low, most people are driving more.

I was at a light a few years back, one single car in front of me. Saw a buddy of mine next to me, went to lean forward and wave and just slighty tapped the horn, a quick “honk” came out of the car. Wasn’t very long, and most people would have been like, “Did a car just honk?” But the girl in front of me, just slammed

This is exactly true. I’ve worked for two unions. The IBEW and CWA. IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) took care of it’s people as long as you did your damn job. You didn’t, they wouldn’t protect you. But if you were wronged by a company, they’d go to bat for you.

If you look at the map, the changes are in low population areas and really, not a whole lot of road considering all the highways in Michigan.

IMO.... Best sign in the world.

Come over to Calhoun County... You can’t drive 20 feet without hitting a pothole. Once you cross over into Kalamazoo County (or any other neighboring county), the roads feel like they are coated in gold.

I think it is actually heated. Not to standard room temperature, but it’s heated.

I’ve never gotten out of a ticket. Even had my license suspended (few of them I had to fight in court, not traffic court, but sue the shit out of the city because the asshole pulled over the wrong car fight).

Ha!

Hey now! I’m a millennial and grew up in the country. We had a party line until after I turned 18 (mid 00's) and then could only get dialup. No cable and only network TV until we got PRIMESTAR and had 10 channels.

The question is, are they bad drivers, or do they just not give a shit about anyone else?

I’d be down for this. I’d never make it down there to see it, but I’m all for Jalopnik having their own track.

Had a black Dodge Charger for a rental car once, it took me awhile to realize it, but people really do get over and let you go by. Even doing the speed limit I noticed people slowing down and moving over...
