Well, Bernie did actually spend quite a bit of his life working for equal rights for women and minorities. It was my understanding that he was an independent mainly because he hates all the BS tied to working in a party and standing in line with party lines you disagree with.

Good Lord, these people are SURGEONS. They are productive members of society. They are law-abiding residents who just want to live their lives. They HELP PEOPLE. WHY DO YOU WANT TO KICK THEM OUT?

There is no way this withstands legal challenges. It’s not only an invasion of privacy, but it’s an imposition on medical professionals. Doctor’s job is not to “investigate”. This is the kind of “oppressive regulation” Republicans claim to be against.
