Pointing out the absurdities in this bill that offends moderates is an effective and winning strategy and saves you from having to have a full-on argument with pro-lifers from scratch again.

They didn’t care then or now. The difference is the US wasnt bombing Muslim countries at the time, drawing bigoted cartoons with government approval during a war is what caused the fuss at the time.
