Apple Pay is NOT going away. Apple makes a lot of money off of Apple Pay and is expanding it. Likely they would switch to a new authentication method (like how Microsoft has camera-based authentication etc)

They didn’t care then or now. The difference is the US wasnt bombing Muslim countries at the time, drawing bigoted cartoons with government approval during a war is what caused the fuss at the time.

You’ll note that Muslims didn’t care and still don’t. We moved on. People who got up in arms about Danish cartoons were deliberately ignoring the fact that America (and Denmark) were actively bombing Muslim countries and the islamophobia only was making the problem worse.

Nobody is talking about punishing drivers, the burden is on Uber to accomodate its customers. Taxi fleets already do this and Uber keeps flounting the rules.
