This is what happens when you argue with me in more than one thread. I’ve already answered your question more than once, and even offered to get you to talk to Muslim women if you don’t believe me.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to generalize in the other direction, I was merely replying to an above bigoted generalization.

I’ve also seen Muslims who drink alcohol and eat bacon, that doesn’t mean you can generalize them to the entire community.

They aren’t. And you’d know this IF YOU ASKED A MUSLIM WOMAN. I’m offering to introduce you or point out where you can go up to a stranger and ask. This is not hard.

Repeating yourself doesn’t make you any less incorrect. Neither does raising your voice.

I am a Muslim. And I know at least 100 non-relative hijabis. Repeat the false stereotype as much as you want, but I’m calling you ignorant. I’m typing this from Flushing right now, next to some Muslim coworkers who wear hijab and laugh as a bearded guy like myself tells jokes. I’ve answered your question before, now

And I live in one of the biggest Muslim enclaves in America. Tell me more about how your anecdotes must mean that the entire millions of people must be like that. We do have public opinion data as well as exit polling for Muslim Americans, not sure why you’re arguing solid numbers.

No, I keep telling you to talk to a Muslim woman knowing from personal experience (you know, living in a Muslim community and all that) they will talk to you, yet you are so strong in your mistaken belief in a stereotype that you insist that they won’t speak to you. Only one way to really find out, isn’t there? Prove

And yet another stereotype. Dude, I’m in New York and I talk to Muslim women all the time on a daily basis. Go and talk to a few, want me to introduce you to a few in Manhattan or Queens?

That is a problem with a specific culture, not the religion. That’s why you don’t see Muslim women in Indonesia or Senegal or Bosnia or Malaysia having that problem.

Hardly. Pro-family, pro religion, pro life, not so good on the gay issue... Muslims are like Southern Baptists!

It is Not. Go talk to a Muslim woman, ANY Muslim woman, who wears a hijab and she’ll debunk that for you immediately. It’s meant to empower.

Clearly the statement is talking about an actual fascist like this:

Completely wrong. You’ve obviously never spoken to a Muslim woman in your life. Go do that and get back to us.

Notify Walmart and Tommy Hilfigher and Sarah Palin for breaking this rule then we’ll talk about the rest of the public following.

Well considering the median age of Fox News viewers is 68 (meaning half the viewers are older than that), maybe even more than 100.

No it does not. Please, PLEASE ask a Muslim woman wearing a hijab why she wears it. Nothing to do with patriarchy (although some cultures do it for that reason, but not the religion). Both genders in Islam are supposed to act modest, which is why as a Muslim man I don’t wear shorts. I know single and divorced women

I wish people would stop applying Christian solutions to Muslim problems. Did Star Wars work in a Star Trek universe?

Would priests aiding and abetting violent anti-abortion groups count? Or those who supported Christian militias, or my favorite, priests who actively support the neo-nazi movement in America? Don’t pretend there’s no bad priests out there. All religions have a right-wing fringe of extremists. It’s a constant.

Jumping right to the false stereotype I see. Okay, show me where there’s a mosque in America advocating for stoning women or gays. I’ll wait. You won’t find any. Visit one and you might learn something.
