I still haven't seen Luke Cage yet, but JJ wasn't sold as an action show. Like, blah blah political correctness, whatever the fuck, but you make an Iron Fist show and talk about Exciting Kung-Fu action and then deliver a bunch of boardroom scenes—what do you think's gonna happen?.

Even someone with, like, a dance or gymnastics background. He doesn't seem to be very good at moving his body in space. At all.

Clueless comes to mind. No one has to know shit about Austen to understand Clueless, which is why it's so fucking good.

Is there any other Marvel show that is dependent on reading a single comic, much less multiple issues?

But warrior monks are people!

Maybe that's how they'll recast if the question comes up.

Both.

I think some of it is that the episodes are clearly airing out of order and it's so jarring.

I think the Special Episodes like the election and police brutality ones work better when you know the characters, too.

Iron Fist fans.

IKR?

John Cho as Strange would have also been dandy. So many roads not taken, man.

o god the 90s flashbacks

Why is 'in the comics' so much magically better, though? These are adaptations. Some of the Spideys have been…English.

True, but I think the groundswell is also getting slightly bigger every time, especially after Tilda got cast.

Then you don't get the brief appearance of Rebecca Romjin, though!

And smelled like pot poorly covered up with cheap incense.

I thought he was fine in JJ but I'm assuming he has more to do in Luke Cage and might not be up to it.

Johnny Storm, doomed to be the wasted character in three terrible movies.

I'm not either! I am well known for my insistence that this whole thing would have been better if everyone had just listened to me and made Ken Watanabe Dr. Strange.
