I thought her outfit here was a hollaback to THAT DRESS she wore to the Grammys in 2000. Hell, maybe itās the same one. If I had a freakum dress like that you betcha Iād still wear it 15 years later (if it fit.)
It can also be other things. Iām really clumsy and have low muscle tone (even when working out) and Iām often bruised. I had a party girl adolescence (very settled now), and still if I have bruises in photos my aunties make comments about my drinking. Meanwhile, I canāt remember the last time I drank.. Just sayin.ā¦
I like you.
Same. I respect kanyes ātrolling the media and fans lulzā thing and find it hugely entertaining... but I really hated his Bill Cosby apology. Like, no, Kanye, too far. And yet here I am back firmly on team Kanye.
I hate that I know this, and dislike standing up for her, but I'm pretty sure she's been in Gold Coast Australia all week and just got back.
Lucky you, holding onto your faith so long. That sounds like snark but I mean it. Mine died when the cops blamed me for my own rape ten years ago in college.
Yes, unsweetened whipped cream is good. I did it on a traditional style Black Forest cake for a birthday recently. Itās used as the frosting, very nice if you arenāt all about super sweet cake and tend to avoid it because the sugar overload fucks up your system worse than a night of boozing...(whew that got personalā¦
Personally, can't wait for the Tesla. Or, specifically, I eagerly anticipate the rise of automated personal transport.
I love a good Katherine Hepburn style pair of trousers, myself.... I think itās a much more flattering/classic look than the current mode of female dressing. The *ahem* skinny leg + billowy top look is fairly classic, Iāll grant you... Classic squire-boy-serving-a-knight-chic. Itās like the current silhouette wasā¦
Iām so sorry. Thatās really hard, maybe sheās still in shock. Maybe itās a high mortality cancer.
Sweet. 20% of your age would still be quite legal.
Thank you, I find myself curiously heartened. :) here's to tough, bright, spitfire grandmothers!
Where do I sign up for the traveling wine goats? Husband already acquired.
Agreed. I differ sharply with my mother and aunts on this. when I hinted (barest hint) that if we loved her, we should let her go they acted like I was a monster. So I kept shut about it and just tried to make her smile/amuse her... She was really bright and sharp right up to the end, too.
Thank you. She died, Bowie died, and my next door neighbor died while I was in the room (cancer) all in the same week. Iām alright, working on the novel she was urging me to start during last yearās nanowrimo. She had been super active on my fbook and I used to send her things all the time, now when sheās suggested Iā¦
Mayo is so apt here.
Exactly, exactly. I reeeeeeeally look forward to the time I can get on the Internet without immediately running into some asshole hypocrite boomer like Martha spouting off about how lazy and worthless I am. Maybe once that gen is all tucked up into nursing homes weāll get some peace. Fingers crossed.
Same. Iāve actually had ppl argue with me fiercely over this, but thereās a part of me that gets his crazy. A bit. It just never seemed correct to me that a man like him would only cut off part of his ear. Pssht. But seriously, have you ever read his letters? I might dig them up for a re read now...
Exactly this!
