THIS 100% THIS. I was in the car while my friend drove yet somehow afterwards my clutch felt weaker and lighter. I don't understand how or why because he didn't do anything too weird but it didn't feel the same. Same thing happens with other stuff. It never feels like it always did to me before.

Well I’m pretty sure it’s been done in other applications somehow and also wouldn’t that argument apply to current gas gauges too to a degree? Also how do range gauges work then? I’m sure there’s a way it could be done even if it’s only accurate at a stop.

Well I know the characteristics of my gas gauge too and it sucks because it functions pretty similarly to what you described and it blows IMO. But if that floats your boat that’s fine with me. I just personally hate information about something with no reference that’s not specific.
