It has nothing to do with the experience, we just miss the old look

Lightness is good for everyone and it makes you go faster.

I daily drive a Mustang and completely understand and agree however I drive the older 3000ish pound one and love how it feels compared to modern cars. I wish I could get a modern one that weighed so little.

Weight reduction , one of the few things that makes the the regulators/tree huggers happy and me when I'm driving. It's a win win.

Your scenario was as unimaginary as mine however I would agree with what you're saying. I guess what I'm saying is that I think the BMW guy is also as much of an idiot as the people speeding.

I know they were going fastish but I guess my point here is that I feel blame falls on BMW guy for being an idiot and on these guys for driving faster than they can handle it would seem.

Even going 30 they would have to swerve to avoid that, purely brakes would not save them. That's a blind corner with an idiot right after it dude.

Yeah and what if there was a guy behind them with a gun threatening their lives? These what if scenarios are only limited by your imagination not reality. Even going 30 miles an hour there is not enough space to stop in time without hitting that idiot in some way or another. You would still have to avoid the BMW.…

No if your car is stopped in the middle of AN ACTIVE ROAD you're dumb too. He/she should have been either pushing their car to the side or not stopped there
