How involved do you think Pelosi and Schumer were in the details of a state house race?

State Rep.
Nancy and Chuck’s watch? Hate to be rude, but I think you’ve erred in your understanding of the political structure at play.
She’s a state-level rep in the North Carolina House of Representatives, not in the United States House of Representatives in DC. Pelosi and Schumer literally have fuck-all to do with state-level…
Which makes sense - but only if you ALSO take steps to eliminate the fact that funding, and therefore opportunity to succeed on merit - is not available to everyone equally.
But that has NEVER been the case, and why things like affirmative action were put in place.
Is that in any way what I said?
There’s a very quick shot in the first trailer that seemed to be exactly that, all three of them tackling the villain and every time they use a power they swapped positions. I thought it looked amazing!
I’m sure all the “ermahgerd GURLS R BAD” goons will come piling in to explain their many alternative reasons for not liking this movie, but so far it looks great.
They’re well aware of that, they just assume (probably correctly) that their supporters do not.
First, it’s important to understand that everything they accuse Dems of is stuff they are doing themselves. They play the victim as they victimize others. They are enforcing censorship in every state they control. Now the Dems, admittedly, don’t want these platforms to carry hate speech aimed at kids and the like. …
Stupid yes. And rather comical in his idiocy, also yes. But he’s very serious about ensuring the spread of Nazi and KKK and the like propaganda throughout the US as he and his fellow MAGAts try to turn the US into a Nazi dictatorship.
For a party that aligns itself so much with limited government interference, they really live for this type of pointless government actions that don’t do anything, and don’t help anything except claiming victimhood.
Maybe they should really change their slogan to, “GOP - We’re ALWAYS the victim, here.”
Uh...what does First Amendment-protected speech have to do with Threads?
Jordan is a very stupid, unserious person.
Completely agree on all counts. I also go with cotton materials and leather shoes (look up Eastern Airlines Flight 212 for natural vs synthetic fibres, and Asiana Flight 214 for why good shoes are a smart choice).
Yep, I’m always belted unless I’m using the bathroom. (And even then I’m safe because when I pee I use the 100% tried-and-true method of repeating “Please, no turbulence!” over and over in my head.) These presumably unbelted passengers weren’t even at cruising altitude. They were unbelted on their descent. A big no no.
Same. I’m always blown away at how many people shuffle on board a 3 hour flight in flip-flops and pajamas.
Yes, seatbelts should be on at all times.
I came to say the same thing. When I traveled for fun in my early adult years, I saw seatbelts as a nuisance but after taking a new job that required frequent travel in my thirties, I learned quickly about the importance of seatbelts even when things seem sooth and ok. Especially in the summer time where weather…
And keep your shoes on.
