I wonder if I could do the same thing with my Volt. Heck, I'd get more storage area and could even fit a spare tire!

If it’s not a phone with a headphone jack, I really don’t care.
I want it, I just can’t afford it.
Early morning after not enough sleep, exhausted from long hours at work, get in my truck to go in for another long day. Start the truck, put it in reverse, notice a soda cup from the previous day’s lunch and decide to throw it away. Grab the cup and step out of the truck...
Wow, Mark Watney is *really* screwed.
I’ve been flying on an experimental aircraft for almost 20 years now, staring at computer screens the entire time. We spend most of our time in weather any commercial aircraft would avoid, including turbulence if it’s at the altitude we need to test at. I am also prone to motion sickness; I take Dramamine every…
We’re well and truly fucked. Another lifetime appointment by an actual, honest-to-goodness traitor and supported by a bunch of his power-hungry anti-American cronies. At the risk of hyperbole, it is easier to see paths that lead to the downfall of American democracy than it is to see paths out of this morass.
I’m constantly amazed at the state of the world when hearing that a car has 55MPG is disappointing. When my commute changed, the MPG in my Volt dropped from 80MPG to 60MPG, and that seems like a major loss - despite transitioning to the Volt from an 18MPG Tacoma.
The F-4 Phantom proved that, with enough thrust, anything can fly. Add space magic, and these ships are just an extension of that.
I was actually taught, quite specifically, to never use the headrest while driving as it would make me more likely to fall asleep. So no, while driving I never use it. When parked or as a passenger it has certainly come in handy, though.
Ahh, the only Stephenson book I’ve read so far. Surprised I recognized it.
The enemy’s gate is down.
How about this version?
Damn, beat me to it.
And Guardians of the Galaxy 4: The Voyage Home?
Unfortunately I think Robotech will continue to belong to Harmony Gold, but they’ll lose their license to use any of the assets from the three shows that made up Robotech. They can still make all new mecha and characters and call it Robotech, and nobody else will be able to make a “Zentraedi / Invid throwdown”.
Jumpman and Impossible Mission, but no Moon Patrol? Man...
How exactly would you evacuate one of these in an emergency? It sure looks like a very comfortable death trap to me, especially as someone who’s had to evacuate an aircraft multiple times.
Well, I can recommend the Pacifica Hybrid that we got to replace our Gen 4. What would that be, Gen 5? 6? 10? Not quite as cheap as the Gen 4 that I bought from my grandmother’s estate, but that did serve us well for the time we’ve had it.
There’s nothing in your message I disagree with. ;)
