I suspect it matters exactly as much as you having your father’s surname instead of your mother’s. It’s one of the most fundamental (and fundamentally sexist) structures of our kinship institutions. The bat-family is patrilineal, women coming to it get the patriarch’s name while men keep belonging to themselves.
Thinking of it, it’s odd that there’s never been a batboy. Batwoman batgirl bathound wonderboy ? All the batboys have bat-unrelated names, all the batgirls have bat labels. Does it say something about independence ?
I’m thinking of the ending of The Shield these days. For trumpic reasons.
I don’t understand BSG. I’ve watched it years ago, and I have very vague memories of it. I remember it as a disappointing mess, the horror of improvised tv-series, writing itself into corners with zero idea where to go all while lying from the start that there’s a whole plan thought up in advance. So many random…

Too.
Not exactly (although I found that the concept was more fitting and slightly better employed in The Dig). I just feel that mysterious do-all power-all crystals of alienum are an impressively poor and unimaginative one-size-fits-all plot device straight out lucasart’s cheapest toolbox.
Whoever still needs an excuse for food porn hasn’t read Ian Fleming.
inventive branching storyline (based on whether Indy makes progress by punching people, solving puzzles, or teaming up with a partner),
Ok, thank you. That’s exactly the clarification I was hoping for.
So. Am watching this from a whole other continent. But if I get the gist :
More interested in the epics of Gotham Post Office Bike Delivery Services.
So, basically, a “Holmes & Yoyo” reboot ?
so, it’s like, “dead, comma, robin !” or is the page titled by an intern who can’t very well tell them apart yet ?
