You can’t be “wrongfully fired” for making too much any more than Comcast can be “wrongfully fired” for charging me too much.

Universal Savings Accounts as described here are a massive incentive to save. Period. 2500 bucks a year isn’t a lot of money. It’s 208 dollars a month. A not entirely uncommon cable bill. Over three or four decades being able to draw on that tax free is a huge deal.
I was referring to liberal leaning voters. My question is how you intend to square the circle on all the educated, relatively highly compensated, liberal, voters that will find out that they’re going to be redistributed from rather than redistributed to?
The latter part of this made me laugh. There are few things more infuriating right now than the white, middle/upper middle class, educated people pissed off because their lives aren’t quite as comfortable as they feel they should be. 150k/year Becky and Chad in San Francisco have decided that they are “poor” and part…
It’s all fun and games to bitch and moan about “rich” people right up until you have to define rich for the purposes of your taxation plan.
Pretty sure the point completely flew over your head.
If the resurgence of pre-civil rights America has taught me anything it’s that there’s a huge mass of white people that are down with racism, down with racist policy, and down with benefitting from the two just as long as the optics aren’t too flagrant.
That’s the story of starting literally any sort of business.
It’s not really the same.
Smart contractors/gig workers do not take on contracts that they’re not completely confident that they can deliver because the potential legal penalties for failure to deliver can be huge depending on what you’re doing. If a contractor signs an agreement that says they will deliver X by Y timeframe that means X has to…
No one makes that assumption.
Figured the “but what about the multi-millionaire and the multi-national conglomerate trying to crush the poor little guy” take would show up at some point. Expected to see it on Splinter though.
Not so fast. It’s not like whiteness hasn’t shown a penchant for annexation in the past. That majority minority status is a just a dream if history is any indication.
Hey man if Jeff Bezos just liquidated some of that Amazon stock these people would go back to loving and cherishing black people...
You only have to stand in line on Election Day once to understand that you should be voting early.
I’m pretty sure what’s happening is that Democrats don’t have that leg to stand on. They never really did. Even the Civil Rights Act probably came down to a political strategy that likely didn’t work out the way LBJ and crew expected.
Is early voting not a thing in New York primaries?
You’re a one percenter my dude. You’re rich in these parts. Maybe rather than a boot licker that makes you a dirty, shoeless, foot licker? You’re on the shit list. As far as they’re concerned you need a 95% hair cut along with Bezos. You’re not fooling anyone.
Holy. Fucking. Shit.
1) I asked OP a question specifically about Jeff Bezos’ individual tax situation. I was looking for clarification specifically about Jeff Bezos as an individual. I’m pretty sure I even italicized the phrase as an individual more than once. I’m not sure how much more clear it could have been that my question was about…
