At least someone here gets it...

A world where ownership has an obligation or responsibility to you as an employee is a world where you should have a corresponding obligation to them. That is not an upgrade in the least.

That YouGov survey tells me that regardless of party affiliation black people don’t have allies.

The point of education is developing and honing critical thinking skills so that when an individual is put into a position where they have to make a decision they can figure things out.

Ignorance isn’t an excuse for much of anything. Having unreasonable expectations despite accurate information being readily available reflects poorly on the individual, not the system.

I’ve seen some larger companies starting to standardize their pay across all of their locations.

You’re going to have to define “good job” and “good money” for me because if you’re thinking like many of the kids surveyed here then you need to re-evaluate your unrealistic expectations. Wait what? People get angry when they feel like other people are getting a free ride? Shouldn’t the union members shoulder that load because it’s better for everyone? I mean that’s the moral thing to do right?

It has always annoyed me how certain consumers of certain goods consider themselves experts in the creation of said goods and in a position to talk shop equal ground with the actual experts by virtue of their consumption.

It’s rather important to distinguish between cause and effect here. “A system where winning means being the biggest liar and con man” is an effect.
