Claire or Nate, if we're talking main characters. matthew gilardi if we're not.

she was really rude to Rico last season.

this season is like a fucking John le Carré novel

until this season I think my best memory of him was the bumbling fool from Good Morning Vietnam

thought we were done with this

One simple and direct question: Vic has lied to anyone and everyone before when he needed to - why didn't he look into Lem's eyes and tell him he didn't kill Terry?

Beating up on Morrissey is a way for liberals/alts/whatever to have their "Sister Souljah" moments.

likewise. previously, when watching in real time in season 4 I was more on Ruth's side due to George's distance and dishonesty by omission. Now watching it again 10 years later I get better where he's coming from and see Ruth pulling that angry mom shit. Of course, instead of George having to firmly tell her "CALM

The fierce urgency with which Monica reacts to the DEA deal and her speech to Aceveda put Vic as a secondary character in his reaction. The fact that they COULD do that speaks to how great Glenn Close was and the fact that they WOULD do that speaks to how compelling this show was.

only a LITTLE dated, but more so in the sense that it wouldn't be as big of a deal now as it was in 2005. In 2005 there weren't, for example, shows on MTV or tons of mainstream movies dealing with gay characters in a meaningful way.

and the way she makes sex eyes at Nate, who rightly looks at her like a child when looking at her at all.

SOMETIMES that feels good. But not always.

Can I also add in the 100% realistic and believable way her character jumps at the chance to move in the garage apartment? Then the very subtle smile she gives to Anita realizing her "college life" just grabbed a whole new level of potential.

Cannot believe Charlie Kauffman had a hand in this garbage.

probably the right ruling, and also sets the stage for a more interesting decision:
