all bands should ask for this

They still got it!

I thought Backspacer was their best since Yield

This one wasn't as funny as last week, but I agree with those who say it should be a contender for best episode of the season. It's hard to add much after these fucking excellent recaps so I'll just mention a few of my favorite moments:

is it crazy to think of David and Keith's relationship being the deepest and best portrayal of a gay male couple up to that point on mainstream television?

it was pretty biting at first then just really dark and hopeless, like most "reality" tv shows

Background:
I watched Season 1, 3, 5 in real time, catching up on 2 before 3, and 4 before 5.  This is my favorite show of all time.  I have made at least 2 full passes through the series, maybe 3.

"I haven't had sex in a very long time."

I LIKE THEM.

Jeremy was a jerk too - and everything Natalie called him on during that fight was fair.  I thought the breakup was perfect because it was revealing both of their flaws and the natural sort of conclusion for two people so seemingly incompatible.

this can't be true?

happy they're coming to FL even if it's shitty Tallahassee - can't wait for the new album!

i always heard this before going there but after I saw Okkervil River and Wolf Parade at T5, it didn't seem as bad as everyone had warned.  sounded fine, setup was fine.  No real problems and I'm otherwise very sensitive to bad concert experiences.

Him screaming, "what the hell's a matter with you?!!?!" in that kind of unrestrained anger and frustration and confusion has always stuck with me.

it's either THAT or this was the most important episode of my favorite TV show of all time and I honor it every day by polluting the comments section of websites while wearing that

enjoy!

seems like a cool episode of an interesting show, maybe I should check it out

what sketch was this?  I don't see it on the Hulu feed

yes, especially when it's essentially a deformed humblebrag.

no one ever wants to come down here :(
