She’ll probably get more publicity for her negative tweets about the VMA than she’d get for winning a VMA.

I don’t think the book is problematic. I think it is a very smart book written about problematic characters who live in a problematic culture- but I don’t think the book itself is problematic. I think it is sometimes misread, but I think more generally what has happened is that most people think they remember the book…
I always thought that Atticus hated the Ewells way more than he disliked black people. Of course he was racist, but the Ewells were white trash and Mayella was totally slut-shamed. Don't get me wrong, I loved the book. It was problematic as hell, but it's of the time it was written.
THIS. So much. I wondered if I was the only person who actually read TKAMB to begin with, because it’s right there in the text.
John Oliver’s description of Donald Trump as “a clown made up of mummified foreskin and cotton candy” is one of the most visceral depictions I have ever heard.
Calm yourself. The bill would not have made bullying a federal crime. The person doing the bullying would not have been subject to federal investigation, nor would that person have risked a sentence in a federal prison. None of the text says any of that.
Franken was on MSNBC earlier about it and he said it would have made LGBT kids protected the same as disabled kids and kids of color are protected so if someone were bullying them based on their LGBT status the school would be “forced” to take action under law whereas now many schools will hand wave such harassment…
Kratos is such an interesting character to me. God of War 2 happened because the Gods, in their eternal dickishness...did as they promised. They forgave Kratos of the sin of killing his family.
Yep. A story about Pluto belongs in a celebrity gossip feature called Dirt Bag.
Past participants for the Women Who Kick Ass panel have included Katey Sagal, Michelle Rodriguez, Sarah Paulson, Tatiana Maslany and Maggie Q.
This panel would have more weight for me if it had a diverse group of women directors, writers and producers. That’s who can create more believable female characters and female centered plot lines. What’s a actress really going to do besides bellyache?
Hold on. Let me check where Lady-Boners fall on the “Nobody Cares about” scale.
Wait wait hold up. Was Stan Lee MCing at a strip club?
I hate when people say that shit. “You’re not perfect either, you can’t judge!” Bitch, *I* didn’t drug & rape over 30 women, so I’m going right ahead and judging that. (AND also judging her for being a collaborator and denying the word of over 30 women just so she could keep her illusions all shiny.)
What’s worse is she’s comparing being accused of drugging and raping people to the backlash she received after that awful sketch she wrote for Ted Danson to wear blackface at an NAACP event where she was the honoree. She’s standing up for accused rapist because over twenty years ago, her jokes didn’t land.
So if he’d just said, nah, didn’t do it, she’d still be there siding with him. Girl it’s not a bandwagon when 30+ women come forward with the same story. That’s a rape parade, with a float and everything. A Parape if you will.
