Yep, she needed the ability to keep him away from her for a period of time and him locked up currently is her out. If she left him any other time, he could track her down with a callout on her license and such.

We’ll likely never know, but my assumption was that if he’s this abusive in public he’s almost certainly abusive at home. Possibly she’s taking this opportunity while he’s in custody to start proceedings while he’s unable to physically retaliate.
Definitely seeing his Ray Palmer along side his return to Superman makes me think that he could have really sold the whole Clark Kent/Superman thing to within a hairsbreadth of how well Christopher Reeve did.
It would be like the return of an “Ian Chesterson” type figure.
Honestly, I’m just stoked for a brother/sister dynamic within the “found family” dynamic that is the Legends at large. I think it would be more interesting with Zari 2.0 because she clearly has resentment issues toward her brother (obvi, she loves him and went through Hell [literally] to bring him back), and their…
Darhk Shadows
Ray and Nora would be on Dark Shadows
I’m hoping like hell they don’t get rid of Behrad
I do wonder if they will turn the Zaris into this show’s Killer Frost next season.
to be fair i doubt someone who hasn’t streamed anything in 22 months would care that much.
I’m shipping Gary and Gideon right the fuck now! Gary needs something more to his character than “ha-ha laugh at the loser”, because a show this funny doesnt need a comic relief character. Im so glad they’re (slowly) growing him. His completely selfless reaction to hearing Astra talk about watching her mother die was…
It wasn’t that Sara couldn’t change the fate she saw in her vision, it’s that she chose not to. She saw charging the Time Courier as the only way to get back on the ship and that they were unlikely to all survive long enough for it to charge so she made the conscious choice to embrace that she was dying first and…
Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I don’t think people realize how truly stacked the system is against the criminally accused. We just see people like Weinstein and Bill Cosby on TV who can afford to throws gobs at money at a defense and don’t realize they’re the exception not the rule. I can’t count the number…
Coming on the heels of Jane Roe’s deathbed confession, it does make you wonder....Lots and lots of people believed what she said for years and years. And then it all turns out to be a lie based on monetary gain.
Honestly, the thing I found most interesting about the Politico article was not that information about her bankruptcy and landlords but that her own retelling of her role at Joe Biden’s office seemed to be inflating with each person she told the tale to:
I’m going to get a lot of hate for saying this but I think the reason a lot of people are bending over backwards to believe Ms. Reade is because the right has effectively weaponize “Believe women” to paint progressives as hypocrites and I think most people could have seen that coming a mile away. Unfortunately, issues…
Are you fucking kidding me? Please take another shot at smearing criminal defense attorneys who represent people accused of sex assault when you know absolutely nothing about the law. If you bothered to do the bare minimum of your job, you would know that defense attorneys cannot just bring up evidence of how the…
This is exactly right. You don’t need to be perfect to credibly allege that you were the victim of a crime, but it is also completely appropriate to be more skeptical of the allegations of someone with a long history of lying and exaggerating to get things from other people. This article is so disingenuous, and I…
I’m not sure this article really tracks with what Politico was doing. To go public with a sexual assault case against a powerful individual requires one of two things: evidence, or a leap of faith on behalf of the public.
I got the idea that Sara saw enough to tell that they were on the right track to winning, but that it also included her death, so she went with it on faith that her death could lead to a solution and her friends could (probably) bring her back with the Loom
