Still hoping that'll be the role that gets Lee Pace on the show. (I breathed a huge sigh of relief when he couldn't do Mason Verger because Fuller had been hinting/hoping for that so much.) Dolarhyde's easily the most sympathetic of Harris's serial killers, and he's gotta carry a bit of a romantic arc.

Seeing him work so many musical numbers into Pushing Daisies was what ultimately seared that show into my heart, so I feel this.

He was especially great tonight. Loved that little pissed-off tick he gives when he's watching Gideon/Hannibal talk about how jealous Chilton OBVIOUSLY is of Hannibal. Chilton kicks a can on the street while mopey Peanuts music plays.

Same for me with the lobotomy being unbearable. Knowing that Bryan Fuller's behind everything helps me deal with all the violence, usually—I just pretend we're getting all the deaths he wanted to do eventually in Pushing Daisies, and suddenly it's not as scary in my head. But ew needles.

I'm 23 and love it, and my mom loves it just as much, which doesn't always happen. Miranda's definitely got wide appeal. :)

The Red Hood/Joker/Harley scene is maybe one of the best Batman-related things I've EVER seen, because it's just so smart about distilling everything that makes those relationships tick in one smooth segment. And Alfred! Man, I'll defend this game forever. It builds the foundations of the world so well.

Late to the comment party, but I agree 100% with this. Arkham Origins cutscenes/character beats just blew me away, so I'm comfortable considering it an integral addition to the universe, and I'm really hoping they've got a bunch more prequels planned. (Sounds like they do, since there's about a 10-year gap between

"So Many Birthdays" proved to me how well this show can handle genuinely emotional stories, so I'm just pumped to see more of that and an expansion of the show's mythology. The humor and relationships are already spot-on. :)

I loved that Rigby's screaming cowardice turned out to be an advantage in this case, and the nods to his claustrophobia from a few episodes ago were nice. On the whole, it was a nice flip on the whole trope of the jittery ones being the first to go.

For sure! I hope they keep up this momentum. It's not just adding new characters to the mix but allowing ALL the show's characters to interact in surprising ways. They're already good at playing with the park staff dynamics, so including the girls in a meaningful way opens that up even more.

So this is maybe one of the best episodes in RS history, just because it perfectly balanced the show's hilarious trademark humor with INCREDIBLE character beats and development on every level—Mordecai and Rigby in a trapped space together naturally brings out tension, and CJ and Eileen are GREAT, AND they get to team

If the show comes back for a second season, I probably won't be watching it. I promised myself I'd get through ten episodes, but in all that time, I couldn't find a reason why I should care about any of these characters. I can't just be here for the ~shock and gore of it all, I have to like SOMEONE.

And I hate the off-the-shoulder thing they keep doing with her because it's not a full scoop-neck OR off-the-shoulder, it's just in this awkward in-between space. >:(

Megan Follows is everything. I was so genuinely distressed for a second when I thought she was going on convent-hiatus. But no one is allowed to leave the castle for more than a few minutes, apparently.

Right. I don't think the narrative has to consistently knock him on his ass every episode to make it clear he's not the lone wolf hero he wants to be. Most of his successes have been a result of embracing the community around him, and I feel like the show is only going to keep moving in that direction.

Boyle's devotion is so endearing to me. Man, if Boyle likes him, you know he's a good guy!

I get that Jake is occasionally an annoying character, particularly when his mistakes are what generate the problems in each episode, but the emotional beats of his character REALLY work for me, and this episode was a great one for him. There's a twist here that he's making a slightly ill-advised call, as usual, but

No, no, I'm with you on all counts here. :)

I laughed through the whole thing, but ESPECIALLY at the blink-and-you'll-miss-it "Double Rainbow" gag. THAT'S my show!

Sure, all of that, but Finn's gonna clash against her sooner rather than later, and that's gonna be FUN.
