What kills me are the people wondering why Comey didn’t quit. Um, because he wasn’t the one who did something wrong in that situation? Trump tries to obstruct an investigation, and Comey should quit?! “Hmm, this guy is super shady, I’ll leave and let him appoint a friend of his who might let it all go”. Doing his job…

I was like, is she talking about one of those places where you go and drink wine and you and your friends all paint a picture? It surprised me, but honestly I shrugged and moved on and now think this is what they do on weeknights.

Yeah I’ve been looking at his pictures in these stories all day and thinking, damn, he is really handsome and it’s making me mad for some reason. I’m probably just jealous of France. (But I love that he seems to have Trump’s number too. Get ‘em, Macron!)

The idea of a progressive shadow government just makes me so happy. Imagine how impotent Trump will feel if states just go around him, working with world leaders and doing the opposite of what he said we’d do. I know not all states will sign on, clearly, but maybe enough to make a difference.

The “She was a bad candidate” line really pisses me off at this point. SHE was? Have you forgotten literally every single thing Trump did and said during the campaign? I kind of do too, but then I remember that this family uses their social media to make money- to market themselves (and sometimes inanimate products!). So a photo of them is basically marketing material, and the person who created it should get paid.

Yes! I have been picturing the Trumps as the O’Doyles for a while now. “O’Doyle rules!” is basically how Donald operates. Even today, STILL, he pulled out one of his old hits when discussing something totally unrelated- “Remember the election? 306 electoral votes. They said it couldn’t be done!”

Smartphones are many people’s only phone, and the cheapest way to have access to the internet, which is basically essential now. Real scenario from the field I work in- a person making about $13/hr doing a tough job is being charged over $500 a month for insurance through her employer, and will soon have smartphone…
