Goooood stuff as always, Shep!
I've been checking for a couple of days now and haven't noticed, but, have there been any good deals for electric toothbrushes lately? I need to pick up a new one.

I always play this just as I start one of the solo vacations I take 2-3 times a year.
"Ca-cumber, cu-cu-cu-cu-cu-cu-cu-cu-cabbage."
LA native in my early 30's, so I grew up with Chicky calling games against those Blazers teams of the late 80s/early 90s. Really good stuff. Kersey was one of the steady pros of that era who you always knew and liked watching, no matter what team he was on.
I've also experienced this but never knew it had a name, or that others felt it as well. I thought it was just me getting these calming feels that would echo inside me long after that person stopped talking.
Came here to say the same thing. Dude was even born in Guatemala.
As a listener of Loveline (grew up in So Cal and it was always on at 10pm), "Girls, Girls, Girls" will always be Carolla or Psycho Mike doing the DJ stripper voice.
Didn't read any of it, just came here to say
This is glorious.
Just when I thought I couldn't love you(r writing) more, Lindy.
Seconded (as another So Cal resident).
Bruh.
Moon Man still freaks me out.
Yessssssssssss.
Oooh, I got to try this ale!
Went to my local gastropub last night and was recommended St. Bernardus Christmas Ale, which is very similar to what you have described above, but the Bernardus had a very smooth finish, and the 10% was pretty well disguised.
