You sound like a unintelligent person that gets everything wrong.

The A.V. Club used to be a haven for music nerds who at least pretended to recognize artists (and who would then proceeded to try to one-up each other about how much they recognized said artists.) Times sure have changed.
Support who you support. I don’t really care at this point. But Okovi was a good album.
The Sanders campaign should just up and create its own music festival at this point.
Lets be honest. It’s too late, everyone is too old for this shit. Besides, we already got Lethal Weapons 5 and it cannot be beaten.
“The Carpenter version has the shape shifter but does nothing with it and is appallingly barren of suspense or good chills and the makeup effects honestly are not very good.”
There are not enough stars for this. If you didn’t get that sense of isolation and paranoia, then the problem is on the viewer and not the film because it was there in spades. And it still looks fantastic compared to the FX of today’s films.
There’s a way to express a contrary opinion on a universally well-regarded classic. This ain’t it.
I can practically smell the pipe you popped into your mouth with a satisfied air at the end of this.
Since nobody else has said it yet, I liked season 3 of True Detective pretty well. It wasn’t as good as season 1, but it was much better than season 2. All of the main cast (Ali, Dorff, McNairy, Ejogo) gave great performances, and I liked the exploration of memory loss and the idea that it’s like coming unmoored in…

The Thing is one of those stories, like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, that I actually enjoy seeing remade, because its themes are so timeless and relevant.
Most TV is “pretty good.” It’s very rarely great. In fact, I haven’t seen a truly great TV show in a long time, and that’s okay with me. I’m all for pretty good television. And although season one of True Detective was better than season two, they’re both basically pretty good TV.
Second season wasn’t exactly high art but it was a perfectly fine, fun pulpy crime show to watch with dinner and a drink on Sunday nights.
Is it not okay to regard Season 1 of True Detective as still pretty damn awesome and also kind of an important bit of television anymore?
I love cats & think people underestimate how sociable they are. But it needs to be on their terms (usually)
Most cats arent actually like that despite what popular culture and memes suggest. Suggesting all cats are like that is abotu as accurate as the suggestion that all women are bad drivers. Its just a bad joke thats become accepted as truth.
I was getting very much a River Song vibe from her, but maybe that was just her acting style.
I agree with the alternate dimension option, and I suspect it eventually ties into the Kasavin in some way causing things to leak between the two dimensions.
