I think Football Outsiders had one of the best write ups on Rodgers.

First off, I believe that Rodgers lied in the most weasely way possible, the doubled-down on that lie in the rest of that press conference as well as violated COVID exposure rules to put their health of the Packers press corps in jeopardy without their consent.

It’s sad, really. I remember when this site would have taken something like Hawley’s asinine comments and produced something both scathing and insightful. Those days are long gone, sadly, but I miss them. 

Dave Chappelle is not our friend. Dave Chappelle is a stranger. Dave Chappelle doesn’t know a single goddamn thing about you, about me, about anyone else listening to his heavily produced and edited stand-up recordings.

Intent is but a part of the equation. I’m sure a drunk driver doesn’t intend to hit anyone on the way home, but the impact is what matters - and the person is held accountable.

I get where centrist Democrats are coming from. For decades, Republicans have brainwashed us into believing that the Democratic party is the party of wasteful spending, despite they’re the ones who decided to finance wars with debt. Nope. I voted for her three times. All my friends and I who worked for her are outraged at her betrayal. She is deeply unpopular in AZ.

She needs to get a divorce and find someone who doesn’t dismiss the trauma that she has experienced. That guy is a douche.

He answers in the negative and tells her that there is nothing in the Ten Commandments that dictates a man shouldn’t take more than one wife.

An odd one, but bandages. I found that generic bandages adhesive was really weak vs Band-Aid brand. I guess its good if you have an allergy to strong adhesive, but I hate when bandages fall off. 

I don’t know who you’re talking about, but this GenX-er (and everyone she knows) has always known that Blazing Saddles is a work of satirical genius.

Nilla wafers.  I hate paying the premium but off brands are terrible.

Generic dish soap is trash. I won’t buy store brand coffee either.

Yes on laundry detergent, but I’d also like to suggest dish soap.  The cheap stuff sucks.

Air Force One still rocks. I miss the era of non-over-the-top action movies that had just a slightly weird premise to them (obviously spurred on by Diehard).

We would do better as a society if we could learn that envy is an emotion, take accountability for it, and leave it at that. So many people love to find ways to rationalize and justify things that boil down to... just being jealous. lol.
