read a little about the owner of vinfast, and you won't be feeling as much sympathy.

I use nitrile-dipped gloves a lot. They’re a good balance between protection from oil and stuff and still being able to feel and manipulate small parts. They’re more durable than just plain rubber gloves, but also fairly cheap, so I buy them in packs of 10 or so and toss them when they get too dirty or worn.

The list of cars I would buy before spending $78k on this is very, very long.

I love this - but I feel like 5 dollars is a bit steep - even for Piss Jugman

“A suspicious plane is in my driveway, does anyone know who this is?”

I did a little exploring of the site. Someone has lost their mind over there. This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it.

Just a thought, but this really should have been titled “Look How They Massacred My Toy”.

Best thing I have read in Jalopnik in years. Thanks. Soon it will be available in camouflage, I bet.

Are...are you ok? Do you need help

I am more interested in that Kawasaki bike he had in the first movie.

“...it will just make shit up without telling you.”

No Canyonero? I assume it’s because The Federal Highway commission has ruled the Canyonero unsafe for highway or city driving.

FYI - the title is “serious deals on [new] electric vehicles”. It is not “serious deals on driving what you already own

I am. In Florida v Riley in 1989 the Supreme Court said:

First, you don’t want cops shooting people, and now you don’t want them running them over, too? If you keep boxing them in like this, they’ll have nothing left but to actually do their jobs!

Kudos. You understood the market and priced it accordingly. Who here would have done differently?  Glad you had a chance to tell your side of the story.

Y’all, 34k is a good price for this car. Stage 1 tune and a Oettinger wing doesn’t wreck value on these and the platform is a gem. MK8's still going for close to 55-60 new. Car looks in good shape. It’s not a class of car that depreciates much and even inflated during the pandemic.

You can thank the mk8's steaming pile of an interior for these not depreciating.

But what would make you reconsider Tesla? What would Tesla have to do to win you over?
