What’s “What’s up, jerks!” in Russian?

Ugh, Sheffield Wednesday fans are going to be even more insufferable than usual now that they’ve made the big time and been mentioned in an Apple+ show.

I’m glad they let Braugher/Holt say "Wario" JUST ONCE.

Cheddar’s no common bitch. He’d find his own way out.

Don’t worry, B99 coverage will go on.

I’ll miss seeing your reviews in general for this and for Lucifer. I know you’ve followed this show for so long and I was looking forward to seeing your perspective on the rest of this season and show specifically because of the depth of your knowledge. I’d rather read your reviews that someone who has only seen the

Seriously, that motherfucker cheats...

Even if I haven’t always agreed with you every time, it’s been a pleasure reading your reviews of the show over the years. Congratulations and best wishes going forward LaToya!

My hope is that by the end of the series, Jake is able to defeat his nemesis, Wario.

“You’ve got to give it to the Germans...they make great cars!” in a thick French accent and “Things change...people change...hairstyles change will get a laugh out of me until the day I die

Idk, I loved this episode. Loved the continuity with the incest baby of all things, loved the framing device, loved the divergence in how Morty and Summer differently take after Rick. Also given how beautiful and chiseled those Go-Tron transformations were, somebody on the animation team had to be happy like a pig in

He didn’t get to explain why!

Black Widow tanked?

  • I don’t know if it’s as simple as Apple throwing around money and clout, but the show gains so much from the realism of the This Morning with Phillip and Holly and Soccer Saturdaysegments here. Seeing the characters integrated into these real shows adds a lot to the show’s groundedness, even when Jamie is spouting off

I think I actually prefer Top Secret! to Airplane!

It has a lot of great gags that hold up. Also gags you’d never see today (same with Airplane). Quality comedic script and great execution. And Val Kilmer’s first credit!

Comedy Val might be the best Val - Real Genius and Top Secret were both huge favorites of mine as a kid. Even later in his career doing Kiss Kiss Bang Bang he stood out in a funny role.

As I mention here sometimes, I’ve written for the film industry and have close friends who have been upper-tier production people for over thirty years. Kilmer has acted like a huge asshole on many sets over the years, and it’s not because he’s so committed to his work. It’s because he’s a self-satisfied asshole.

For me, Kilmer still has a lifetime pass for his (very early) starring turn in Top Secret.
