the only TC contestant I met in person was Blais when he was doing a cooking demonstration at Whole Foods. He could not have been nicer, but his shtick felt canned. I honestly can’t remember if it was before or after he won All-Stars. The food he made was good though.

So many beets this episode. I was in hell.

I hate the “coming up this season” stuff because it is NEVER edited well enough. If you pay attention you can see the progression in shows and who doesn’t get shown.

I was quite surprised that they didn’t bring up the pirogi repeat. My wife said “Uh oh...” when she plated it and got lukewarm, at best, comments. She was convinced, as was I, that Tom would point out the repeat at judges’ table.

I think the issue most would have is the tiny implements of destruction, not having the kids there.
