I liked Poker Face at lot as well (and I’m not usually a pop fan) but soon was concerned she was more of a performance artist than a musician. She obviously still likes to fuck with people, but that’s fine if she’s got the goods.

Diane has said many times that she doesn’t like grand gestures.
Alright, I’ve been dying to bring this up here since I spent way too long researching this yesterday after my rewatch of the series.
I think that’s a safe assumption. Hollyhock doesn’t need anything from BoJack any more but still wants him to be a part of her life. The best thing he can do for her is listen and be a cautionary warning should she notice any similar traits in herself.
Cheers to all the crudely drawn faces in the Belle Room.
“What are YOU doing here?!”
I’ve never had any faith that Diane and Mr. Peanut Butter could make their relationship work in the log run. It doesn’t make much sense to me that she’d marry him in the first place.
Is Princess Carolyn on her way to happiness though? Sure, her career might maybe be on the way up, but she’s destroyed her relationships with Ralph and Judah, her body seems to be letting her down, she’s grieving her babies and she’s developing a drinking problem. She’s ending the season like BoJack usually would.
“Look, the woods are dark and scary, but the only way out is through. I’m sorry. I got distracted by the woods. Um, what were we talking about?” Probably my favourite little thing that happened this season was the friendship that’s developed between Princess Carolyn and Todd. They’ve interacted before but never really…
I really liked the reveal about BoJack and Hollyhock being half-siblings and I loved BoJack agreeing to do the show for Princess Carolyn. I didn’t want to watch PC on a downward spiral so I’m glad they seem to have resolved that arc.
Her first big pop hits did it for me. I hate that kind of music generally but there’s no denying ‘Poker Face’ is a great pop song.
And i also can appreciate when artists are busting with talent.
Kristen Schaal was nominated for this year’s Emmys, for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance. She lost to Seth MacFarlane, for Family Guy, in what was obviously a travesty.
I was wrecked by this episode, what else is new. When she revealed she actually had more than 2 miscarriages I really didn’t see that coming and it hit hard. Amy Sedaris is so wonderful in this show it’s my favorite thing she’s done (Mimi Kanasis in Kimmy Schmidt coming in close second) but she just nails everything…
Is there some rule among the Bojack cast that they won’t submit themselves for Emmy considerations? Because the fact that NO member of the show has been nominated is patently insane, and Amy Sedaris did the best work in her whole career with this episode IMO. When she did the fake framework reveal, I elicited a…
When first watching this I bought into the framing device. I thought, “Ok, even if things look shitty now Princess Carolyn had a family and everything worked out because that charming cat girl is talking about her”.

“So if it’s not about their butts, then why is the other judge Sir Mix-A-Lot?” “Because I’m an honest and impartial judge. And if there’s one thing I’m famous for, it’s that I cannot lie”. “Yeah, I guess that would be the one thing”. Sir Mix-A-Lot’s insistence that the thing he’s most famous for is his honesty might…
Wow, this looks promising. Great balance of fan service (“Hi, doggy!”) and seemingly coherent plot line / character study.
This looks hilarious.
Personally, and this is just my opinion, as a parent myself I honestly tend to not concern myself with it mainly because I know from my own experiences from when I was a kid, and having my own kids, that I think it completely depends on that individual child as to whether or not they can handle adult oriented stories,…
