Yeah, I actually worked at a Starbucks about 10 years ago, it’s possible the machines have more than two bean chambers now but I’ve never noticed it.

The appeal here for me is if I’m just getting a straight-up Americano, cappuccino or latte, with nothing added, because that’s where the burnt notes of the “signature” espresso come through. I find it overroasted and prefer light to medium roasts on most of my coffee, but if it’s being mixed in a sugary-sweet latte…

Overall I liked this episode but that’s not how EC works. It’s not an abortion pill. Those are two different things. And it bugs me that they got that wrong because it plays right into far right fears about EC.
